TURKISH ASSOCIATION FOR PSYCHOPHARMACOLOGY (TAP)’s 9th International Congress on Psychopharmacology & 5th International Symposium on Child and Adolescent Psychopharmacology (9th ICP – 5th ISCAP) will be held on April 26-30, 2017 in Antalya, Turkey. Turkish Association for Psychopharmacology (TAP) is the premier professional society in the psychopharmacology and neuroscience research in Turkey, the geographical, historical, and cultural center of the region. With our motto “We Mind the Brain”, the TAP is committed to ensuring that advances in the understanding of brain function and human behavior are translated into better psychiatric treatments and enhanced public awareness. TAP’s core purpose is to advance scientific understanding of mental illnesses and to facilitate the communication and collaboration between convergent disciplines of neuroscience and psychopharmacology. To achieve this goal; the TAP organizes scientific meetings, fosters research and teaching, encourages publication of primary data research, scientific journals, books, and provides guidance and information to the public on matters relating to treatment of psychiatric disorders and psychopharmacology.

ABOUT 9th ICP & 5th ISCAP

Coming off a highly successful 2017 congress in Antalya/Turkey, 9th ICP and 5rd ISCAP will provide up-to-date information and cutting edge psychopharmacology along with interactively sharing the latest trends in treatment resistant cases and will offer practical solutions to contemporary challenges clinicians face for all psychiatrists, pharmacologists, neurologists, neuroscience professionals, psychologists, psychiatry nurses, and social workers.

As usual, the Congress Organization Committee has prepared an original, interesting and satisfactory scientific program ‘the 9th International Congress on Psychopharmacology and the 5rd International Symposium on Child and Adolescent Psychopharmacology of Turkish Association for Psychopharmacology’. In the scientific program, the latest innovations will be explained by the experts in their field and also different sessions will be organized.

Official congress invitations will be sent to the participants through their own request for permissions for their institutions. These invitations can only used for the purpose of permission. Such invited guests will cover their own registration and accommodation fees.

Frequently Asked Questions about the Congress

How can I register?

You can register to the congress using the form on the Registration & Accommodation page.

How can I make the payment to complete the registration?

You should inform Global Turizm, Organization Secretariat by sending the payment receipt after you paid for registration fee according to selected registration category.

How I should arrange the accommodation?

It is highly recommended that accommodation should be arranged for 4 nights due to congress program.

Do I have to book the rooms through Organization Secretariat?

Participants are able to book their rooms by themselves seperately. The participants who does not book the rooms through Global Turizm have to register in”Registration without Accommodation” category, to have the services by congress venue, Susesi Hotel which is operated All-Inclusive concept.

Why I have to register in category ``Registration without Accommodation``?

Due to Susesi Hotel, the headquarter hotel operates in all-inclusive system, the participants who will not stay at official congress hotels have to pay additional fee for all-inclusive services during the congress. This obligatory fee for all participants who will not stay at announced congress hotels, is included in “Registration without Accommodation” category.

May I attend to the congress with my accompanies?

Accompanying persons are not able to attend to the scientific sessions. But accompanying persons are able to benefit accommodation facilities by paying supplement fee. Please contact Organization Secretariat, Global Turizm for further information.

I will attend to the congress just for 1 day. Do I have to register?

All participants have to register to the congress and to have badge in the congress venue. The participants who do not have badge, are not able to access the meeting rooms and exhibition area.

Do you have shuttle service to Bus Station or City Center?

Unfortunately there will be no shuttle services to Bus Station or City Center. Transfer sevices will only be available between the airport and hotels for the participants who inquiry the service.

I will not stay at headquarter hotel. How can I go and return to the congress venue?

There will be shuttle services between the congress venue and hotels. Shuttle service hours will be announced on the program book and at the registration desk.

When can I deliver the certificate?

The certificates for the participants will be ready on April 29, 2017 at the registration desk. The participants should deliver their certificates as of 12.00.

My departure will be in the evening. When do I have to check out?

Check out time for all hotels is 12.00. The participants who ask for check out after 12.00, half-day room fee have to be paid.
